According to the National Association of Realtors, LGBTQ buyers buy homes that are older and smaller than people who do not identify as LGBTQ. As stated in the NAR article, LGBTQ buyer’s are buying homes on average 170 sq. feet smaller and 15 years older.

What does this mean for a Binghamton Real Estate investor looking to sell their small, outdated investment property? Many times, investors hold on to those older investment properties, thinking, they will not sell, due to the size and age of the property. Or they think they will have to do a lot of work to it, before being able to sell the property.
